Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By logging in, creating a backend, or otherwise using CTAG Hosting ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service to log in, as authentication is handled through Discord OAuth. You are responsible for the security of your Discord account and any activity performed through it on our Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Host malware, viruses, cryptocurrency miners, or other malicious code.
• Attempt to escape, disable, or interfere with container sandboxing or resource limits.
• Abuse, scan, attack, or gain unauthorized access to other users' backends or our infrastructure.
• Host content that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
• Use excessive resources in a manner that degrades the Service for other users.
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

4. Administrator Access & Confidentiality

Administrators may be granted access to your backend solely for management, moderation, maintenance, and support purposes. Administrators do not have access to your environment variables, secrets, API keys, tokens, or any other confidential credentials stored within your backend.

All administrators are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding any information they encounter while performing their duties. They are prohibited from sharing, copying, distributing, or leaking any backend information, user data, configuration details, or other confidential information obtained through their administrative access.

Any administrator who violates this policy by sharing or leaking confidential information will have their administrative privileges immediately revoked and will be permanently banned and blacklisted from our services and from holding any future staff position.

5. Backends & Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the code and content you upload to the Service. By deploying a backend, you grant us the limited right to store, run, and route traffic to it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, remove content, or delete backends at our discretion if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, without prior notice in cases of severe or urgent violations. You may appeal a ban through our ban appeal system.

7. Service Availability

CTAG Hosting is provided on a best-effort, community basis. We do not guarantee uptime, data durability, or uninterrupted availability, and we recommend keeping backups of important backend code and data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CTAG Hosting and its administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
